Just so you know a little about me......
I graduated from Indiana University with a degree in Art History. Let's just say I wasn't prepared to be an Art History major in the 1970's and life took me in other directions. Now I'm back to the "art world" and enjoying the opportunity to explore my creative side once again.

My art aesthetic....
Born and raised in the Chicagoland area, I moved to Iowa in the late 70's and fell in love with the Midwest landscape. My heart and soul belong to things like the complex simplicity of Frank Lloyd Wright designs, the homespun craft of Newcomb pottery, the bare essentials of Nakashima furniture... works of art that coexist with nature instead of battling it. 

The beauty lies in the details...
As you look at my pieces, I hope you find that balance. And I hope you find that what the eye sees is always a product of its simplest elements.
